Recall support
A little help
getting back to it.
Device requirements, saving links, search, and the questions that come up along the way.
Which devices can use Recall?
Recall requires iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26 or later and a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence enabled. An iCloud account is required for library sync.
How do I save a link?
Use the share menu in an app that can share a web link and choose Recall. You can also copy the web address and paste it into Recall.
Why is a summary missing?
A newly saved link may still be processing. Check your connection and Apple Intelligence settings. Some sites do not provide enough accessible text for analysis; use the saved item’s retry controls if processing failed.
Why is a new link missing from search?
The link may need to finish processing so its content can contribute to semantic search. Confirm it is in your library and allow processing to complete.
How do I enable Voice Recall?
Start Voice Recall and allow microphone access when asked. If access was denied, change Recall’s microphone permission in your device’s settings.
Why does another device show a different library?
Check that both devices use the same iCloud account, allow Recall to use iCloud, and have a connection. Give pending changes time to synchronize.
Where can I read about privacy?
The privacy policy explains local storage, iCloud sync, on-device processing, diagnostic reports, and deletion.
Save it for later.
